The Hmong people are an ethnic group originating from parts of Laos, Vietnam, Thailand, Myanmar, and China.

Hmong people started immigrating to the U.S. in 1975 after years and years of war and persecution in Laos. Check out this timeline to learn about the history of Hmong people since 4,000 BCE!
